Associate Attorney
Nicolás Paulson Aspiazu is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience, whose management approach is grounded in five core pillars: honesty, understanding, team leadership, applied creativity, and problem‑solving capacity. His practice spans corporate law, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, procedural law, and administrative law.
He earned his law degree from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil and later completed a Master’s in Corporate Legal Counseling at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues, as well as an MBA from Cesma Business School. Additionally, he completed an executive program on Family Business Governance at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
In the public sector, he served as General Coordinator of Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade and Investment, with a focus on the aquaculture and fisheries sectors, as well as on investment matters and contracts between the State and private companies. His responsibilities included regulatory drafting, advising the Ministry’s highest authorities, and participating in international negotiations with counterparts from the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and the European Union.
Nicolás is recognized for transforming legal challenges into actionable strategies and for his ability to lead teams focused on efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective client solutions. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence.
